An outstanding example of biodiversity and ecology
Camellia Hill Wetlands is one of the most important ecological systems in Jeju.
It is home to numerous rare species of flora and fauna including the Jeju grape fern, an endangered species found for the first time in the Gotjawal of the area.
It is designated as a protected wetland by the Ministry of Environment and as a Ramsar wetland site internationally.
